Refocusing Our Strategy: Strengthening NODWIN Gaming for the Future

Nodwin Gaming International Pte. Ltd. (“Nodwin”), a leader in new-age youth entertainment, gaming and esports has decided to cease further funding to its majority-owned subsidiary, Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH (“Freaks 4U”). This decision is based on comprehensive legal and financial advice and after repeatedly fulfilling financial commitments and not seeing a turnaround.

NODWIN has supported Freaks 4U’s business for multiple years within the NODWIN framework of limited recourse investment strategy, yet despite additional investments the situation did not improve and it would be irresponsible to put further funds from NODWIN’s investors at risk.  Based on this, Freaks 4U has filed for insolvency in Germany.

As a result of the above developments, Nodwin has fully impaired its investment in Freaks 4U in its financial statements.
Nodwin will monitor the insolvency proceedings and support an insolvency administrator in the search of a suitable investor to continue the business of Freaks 4U in part or in whole. This development does not impact Nodwin’s global operations or financial outlook or those of its other subsidiaries.
