Pune Comic Con 2025 Delivers a Blockbuster Weekend, Leaving Fans with Unforgettable Experiences!

Maruti Suzuki Arena Pune Comic Con, powered by Crunchyroll, gave Punekars their best geeky weekend of the year. Fans from across the city and beyond gathered to experience two days of non-stop entertainment, exclusive fan interactions, and immersive experiences with some of the leading brands in the industry. With over 22,000+ visitors and 1500+ cosplay registrations across the two days, the event was a spectacular visual treat.

From classic superheroes like Deadpool, Captain America, Daredevil, and villain Green Goblin as well as different variations of Spider-Man, to beloved characters such as The Flintstones, Team Rocket, Jasmine, Moana, and Maui as well as anime favorites – Chainsaw Man, Akatsuki from Naruto and Rengoku and Tanjiro from Demon Slayer, the cosplay community was vibrant and creative. Pune Comic Con brought some renowned comic book creators to the city, making it a dream weekend for comic book lovers.

Fans were excited to meet the award-winning Archie Comics writer Dan Parent, who shared fascinating insights into his work, storytelling techniques, and memorable moments from his career during his special panel and meet-and-greet sessions. Alongside him, some of India’s finest comic book creators took center stage, including Abhijeet Kini Studios, Prasad Bhat, Bullseye Press, Indusverse, Bakarmaxx, Garbage Bin, Art of SAVIO, Akshara Ashok Aka Happyfluff, Saumin Patel, Lilrosh, Rajesh Nagulakonda, Yali Dream Creations, Urban Tales and many more.

Amplifying the event’s energy, the Pune Comic Con stage was packed with unmissable performances. Stand-up sensations Rohan Joshi, Ravi Gupta, Sahil Shah, Azeem Banatwalla, and Rahul Subramanian had the crowd in splits with their razor-sharp wit and uproarious punchlines. At the same time, the hysterical podcast crew The Internet Said So (TISS) (Varun Thakur, Kautuk Srivastav, and Aadar Malik) brought their signature charm and humor live to the stage. But the excitement didn’t stop there! The fan-favorite acapella group Voctronica took the crowd by storm with their electrifying performance with their nostalgic ads medley, electrifying rendition of Tambdi Chambdi, and more, making sure the two-day celebration was a fantastic weekend for Punekars.

Standup Comedian Rahul Subramanian said “It was absolutely fantastic—I had an incredible time! Pune is a city I’ve always loved. Being a Mumbaikar, I’ve been here countless times, and every visit feels special. Performing here has always been amazing, but hosting a quiz show at Comic Con for the first time made it even more memorable. It was a completely new format for me, and I wasn’t sure how it would go, but the energy in the room was unreal! The crowd lifted the whole experience, making it so much more fun. The enthusiasm, the laughter, the sheer joy—it was infectious. I couldn’t have asked for a better audience!”

The convention took fan engagement with experiences from Maruti Suzuki Arena, Crunchyroll’s One Piece special booth, Universal Studios’s Jurassic World Rebirth, and DreamWorks’ How To Train Your Dragon booths. The NODWIN Gaming Arena kept the excitement soaring with thrilling showcases and immersive experiences from brands such as PlayStation, Lenovo, Intel, EliteHubs, Corsair, Logitech, and Klip VR along with the exclusive Chandrayaan VR experience that transported visitors on a space adventure.
