gamescom is the World’s largest gaming event held annually in Cologne, Germany. The event showcases a range of activities such as new game announcements, hardware reveals, cosplay contests, gaming tournaments, and more.
Freaks 4U Gaming was at the forefront of gamescom 2024 offering a wide range of services such as booth design and fabrication, stage production, creator management, offsite event management, social media activation, and IT/network support.
Some of their clients included GIGABYTE AORUS, Deutsche Zoll (Central Customs Authority), LG Electronics, Games Science, Ferrero, Razer, Activision Blizzard, AMD, Duplo, and EPSTiget.
One of the most notable partnerships at the event was the company’s continued collaboration with GIGABYTE AORUS. For the sixth consecutive year, GIGABYTE AORUS turned to Freaks 4U Gaming to design, build, and manage their booth at gamescom.
Beyond booth design and management, Freaks 4U Gaming showcased its innovative approach to event marketing. For over a decade, they’ve been responsible for product placement for one of its oldest clients, AOC/Evnia at gamescom.
By strategically distributing hundreds of monitors across various booths, Freaks assisted in increasing brand awareness for AOC/Evnia.
Freaks 4U Gaming also played a crucial role in managing cosplayer activations for Black Myth: Wukong. They scouted and managed cosplayers for the Game Science booth, with influencer activations in Germany, France, and Taiwan leading up to the exhibition.
Aside from these onsite projects, Freaks managed an influencer party offsite for Activation Blizzard, as well as setting up fully-equipped streaming stations for WoW creators to stream outside of gamescom 2024.
The agency was also responsible for managing gamescom’s social media channels, ensuring a strong online presence for the event.
