KO Fight Night Coming To Your City Soon!

It’s time to dust those sparring gloves and whip out the controllers! NODWIN Gaming and ESL India proudly announces the KO Fight Night. This is a one-of-a-kind tournament focusing on the fighting games genre and the game Street Fighter V in particular.

The KO Fight Night is a novel novel property by NODWIN Gaming and ESL India aimed at celebrating the fighting games as well as the community in the country. Modelled as a multi-city event, the tournament will be held across eight cities in the country. These activations act as qualifiers and help reveal the best fighting talent in the city. From here, the top four players from each game category in each city will travel to play at the finale.

With an estimated prize pool of INR 75,000, the KO Fight Night promises to be the best fighting games tournament in the country. Scheduled to begin in April, the KO Fight Night will continue to challenge players across cities until July. The progress of the tournament will be streamed on Facebook, with more than 100 hours of live content to be enjoyed.

The 2017 edition of the KO Fight Night focused on CAPCOM’s premier fighting game title, Street Fighter V. The tournament took place across six Indian cities and witnessed several individuals participate. Meanwhile, one contestant was chosen from an online qualifier, while another returning champion received a direct invite to the main event. The grand finals of the KO Fight Night took place at the DLF Cyber Hub in Gurgaon. There, player, Bhagwant “B3” Bagh managed to edge out his opponent Bharat “Whitey” Mathani in a nail-biting finale. With this win, Bhagwant received a slot at the Brooklyn Beatdown, which took place alongside the ESL One: New York. Bhagwant made India proud at the international event after he stunned his opponents with his spectacular performance and was placed 25th at the end of the tournament.

The KO Fight Night is all set to make its return for the 2018 season. The new year holds new hopes as the event seeks to make a much bigger splash. This time around, tournaments for other popular fighting games will also be making their appearances under the KO Fight Night banner!
